Geotechnical Engineer

An excellent opportunity has come available for a Geotechnical Engineer from either a contractor or consultancy background looking for an opportunity to work on a range of complex interpretation, ground modelling, design/analysis, ground movement, basement construction and impact assessments.

This role will also allow a Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer to work closely with the Director in attempt to assist in all aspects of staff development, commercial management and growth.

My client is a small specialist Ground Engineering Consultancy that deliver complex commercial, residential and high-rise building schemes throughout England.

Geotechnical Engineering Specification:

• 1st class degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geology, Environmental Sciences etc; MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or Geoscience ideally.
• A least 1-10 years experience delivering geotechnical and/or geo-environmental projects throughout ground investigation, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Ideally you will have a meticulous attitude to reporting to help develop juniors and deliver 1st drafts across both geotechnical and geo-environmental.
• Effective and articulate communication whilst offering up geotechnical and geo-environmental advice.
• Ambition to grow into the Senior leadership team.
