We are currently looking for a Shipping Administrator to join our bustling team in Biggleswade. If you're passionate about ensuring smooth shipment processes and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, this could be the perfect role for you

As a Shipping Administrator, you'll be at the heart of our shipping operations. You will be responsible for entering data and setting up new shipments in our system, liaising with suppliers to maintain accurate shipment details, collaborating with Account Managers and other departments, applying freight forwarder charges to assist stock allocation, raising debits for discrepant quantities, and keeping up regular communication with the Import Planning team to ensure information is current and precise. Additionally, you will review documents from suppliers, ensuring they are accurate before logging them into the system and forwarding them to the relevant parties.

Shipping Administrator Requirements:

  • Excellent administrative skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities, adept at managing conflicting demands
  • Problem-solving skills to address shipment-related issues promptly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other relevant software applications
  • Previous experience in shipping administration or a related field is preferred
