We have anexciting new opportunity for a Fitness Instructor, at PlacesLeisure, where you will be working in a fun, lively environmentwith likeminded people. You will help to inspire others to worktogether and deliver their very best. With your previous experiencein the fitness industry, you will be full of enthusiasm and lovetalking with people whilst motivating others and feel confident ingiving suitable health and fitness advice that will match eachcustomer's individual aspirations and goals.  

All our Fitness Instructors should hold a minimum ofCIMSPA Affiliate/Reps Level 2, and it would be ideal if you were tohold CIMSPA Practitioner/Reps Level 3. However, if you are amotivated and driven individual, then with our continuous learningand development opportunities, we would be happy to support you inachieving this qualification.

You can develop your career by providingoutstanding Personal Training sessions and growing your clientbase. If management is a route you wanted to take, you can work upto be a Fitness Manager.

In the FitnessInstructor role, we will offer ongoing training and developmentopportunities, including support with your CIMSPA Practitioner /Reps Level 3 Qualification, enhancing your customer service skillsand much more.

  • Always puttingthe customers' needs at the forefront of everything you do and havethe ability to create personable and meaningfulrelationships.
  • Maintain an interest in yourcontinuous personal development by maintaining a high level ofknowledge and play an active part in keeping on top of new trendswithin the industry.
  • Carry out initialinductions and ensure that customers are using the equipment safelyand correctly.
  • You will be comfortable workingwith customers of all abilities, no matter what stage they are intheir fitness journey. You will be able to set and monitorprogrammes as appropriate.
  • You will work withindividuals running Personal Training and small group sessions; behappy to offer Personal Training sessions as an additional service;and look to take on new PT clients from face-to-face interactionsand basic marketing tools.
  • Work as a team tokeep our facilities clean and safe, adhering to regulations and ourcompany procedures. Our teams maintain consistent standards;therefore, you will want to be your best, in everything youdo.
