What's the job?
No two days are the same, but here's what you'll be doing:
Providing one-to-one care and support tailored to each person's needs.
Encouraging independence with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, and personal care.
Helping people access education, work, hobbies, and social activities.
Supporting service users with budgeting, benefits, and essential life skills.
Building strong relationships and empowering each individual to make their own choices.
Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of those in your care.

What do you need?
A caring, patient, and positive attitudethe most important thing
Experience in social care is great but not essentialwe'll provide training if you're the right fit.
An SVQ Level 3 in Social Care (or a willingness to work towards it).
Basic IT skills for online training and record-keeping.
A respect for our Christian ethosyou don't have to be religious, just happy to work in a values-led environment.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
