Asa Unit Nurse Manager (General) at a Barchester care home, you'lluse your compassion and initiative to make sure our residents getthe quality care they deserve. We'll look to you to plan, manageand monitor the delivery of nursing that meets all of ourresidents' needs. This means you'll implement person-centred careplans that make a real difference to our residents' day-to-daylives. As part of your wide range of responsibilities, you canexpect to plan rotas, recruit, train and mentor staff and buildrelationships with local regulators and social services. In therole of Unit Nurse Manager (General), you'll have the freedom andautonomy to take your unit from strength to strength, with plentyof opportunities for professional development along the way.
ABOUT YOU
To join us as a Unit Nurse Manager (General), you'llneed to be a Registered Nurse (RGN) with a current NMCregistration. Experience in producing well-developed care plans anddetailed risk assessments is important, as is an up-to-dateknowledge of recent clinical practices and regulatory frameworks,including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. You'll be anatural leader who has acted as a clinical mentor, includingsupporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship.Dedicated, ambitious and resilient, you'll have a strong trackrecord of delivering improvements to achieve quality care.
