We are looking for a ReliefBank Worker (Support Worker) to join our team on a relief/ad-hocbasis to provide support in our sites that are based across SouthShields and or Blyth.
You will be providingbasic support, advice and guidance to vulnerable people, thisincludes working with young people, including young parents agedbetween 16-25 in support accommodation.
You willsupport our service users when needed and complete administrativetasks within the office and reception to support the widerteam.
This post is subject to a satisfactoryenhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and alloffers of employment are subject to the receipt of two satisfactoryreferences.
We encourage applications frompeople that can work weekends and unsociable hours including nightshifts (wake and nights and sleepover shifts), the job will requireyou to lone work.

More about you
To be considered for this role you will have an awarenessof safeguarding issues with experience of supporting a vulnerableclient group; you will support a busy scheme and as such you willneed to work well in a team and enjoy working collaboratively. Inwhat can often be demanding or difficult situations you will needto remain calm and positive in your approach.
You will also be expected to demonstrate at interview anability to assess and deal with conflicting demands within afast-pacing environment and a commitment to delivering customerservice to a high standard.
