Our central finance supportfunction is based in Hull and we currently have a vacancy for aCredit Controller to report into the Group Credit Manager. What you'll bedoing...
- Minimiseoverdue debt and maximise cash collections by chasing customerpayments in line with Company payment terms
- Work proactively to identify customer disputes at anearly stage in the collection cycle to assist with minimisingoutstanding debt including relevant escalations
- Establish and build strong relationships with internalstakeholders and your customer-base to ensure prompt payment andefficient query resolution
- Maintain accuraterecords of customer interactions and transactions
- Creating weekly debtor reports and accounts informationfor internal departments
- Support on annualaudits
- Following up payments as needed andNegotiating re-payment plans
- Working withcustomers invoice portals to enable processing ofinvoices
- Ensuring vendor compliance withcompany standards

- Previousexperience of credit control
- Effectiveorganisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strongverbal and written communication skills
- Experience of working in a large, fast pacedbusiness
