Location: Arla Westbury, Wiltshire

Rate of pay: £12.75 per hour

Working pattern: 27 hours per week on rota basis (to include some weekend breakfast service shifts)

About The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a passionate, creative Commis Chef to be a huge part of our small team at Arla Westbury.

Gather & Gather prides itself on working with the freshest ingredients to create concept or classic dishes hit with a street food twist. At Arla we showcase monthly hot counter “Pop Ups”, along with fresh baked goods and daily office hospitality menus.

As our Commis Chef you will be hands on supporting the kitchen team. Using fresh ingredients to create daily Gather & Gather menus. Supporting with breakfast and lunch prep, customer service, daily grab & go prep, replenishing vending, and all other daily duties that come when working in a clean and happy environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard ensuring food is seasonal and where possible sourced locally
• Support with accepting all kitchen deliveries and storing of all stock
• Replenishing vending stock
• Maintaining a clean hygienic kitchen environment at all times
• Maintain a professional and friendly image with the client and customers
• Work effectively with all colleagues to ensure excellent customer service
• To understand and comply with Company and statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards including COSHH and HACCP
• Take pride in what you do and have fun doing it
