Guided by client understanding our digital water team harness our domain delivery and digital expertise to advise advance and implement sustainable solutions for tomorrows success Our digital capabilities are based around 3 pillars. The first pillar is digital optimisation whereby harnessing the power of digital technology and our domain expertise we can aide our project delivery teams to optimse the delivery of our design deliverables. We can assist with aiding automation of designs secure storage with automated workflows and the implementation of AI solutions across project delivery. The second pillar is digital advisory where the team work with clients to guide them on digital investments technology selection and gain organisational commitment. Our final offering is digital implementation where we work with our clients to apply and embed best fit digital technologies for asset optimisation and longterm organisational benefits.

As a Digital Optimisation Lead you will take a lead role in guiding our internal delivery teams to transform and optimise our engineering deliverables and implementation of digital adoption technology and product development. The main objective with support from regional digital optimisation leaders will be to provide comprehensive endtoend project team support facilitating the integration of digital solutions into our business operations. In this pivotal role you will collaborate closely with our Client Account Managers and delivery teams. As a key player in executing our digital strategy for optimisation you will support digital teams facilitate cross market collaboration and be a champion for adoption

Heres what youll do:

  • Digital adoption across region: identify areas where upskilling and support in project delivery is required to successfully deliver digital methods of working.
  • Collaborate Globally: Build trusted relationships with our global digital water optimisation leader and our Enterprise Capabilities team. Ensuring global initiatives are cascaded across the team and meet the regions requirements.
  • Project Support: Act as digital lead across multiple projects or framework.
  • Resource Management: Responsible for ensuring suitable resources are identified and allocated to projects.
  • Software Champion: Point of contact within region for technical software queries.
  • Internal stakeholder Presentations: Present at regional water townhalls updates and successes 
  • Digital Strategy: Work with Water Digital Lead to plan and develop digital strategies and successfully deliver owned elements of plan
  • Regional Optimisation Leaders: Manage and lead team of regional optimisation leads ensuring our project delivery teams have the support to deliver projects through latest digital solutions.
  • AECOM Market profile: Work with the water digital leadership team to enhance AECOMs market profile as a leading provider of digital solutions in the Water end market through thought leadership pieces conference presentation professional meetings etc.

Qualifications :

Heres what were looking for:

  • Certified Postgraduate or Equivalent Qualification: In Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Project Information Delivery: Experience in delivering project information in accordance with BIM standards.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Revit and/or Civil 3D with experience in validating and coordinating models in Navisworks or similar software.
  • Design Automations: Experience of working with teams to identify automation opportunities and develop Minimum Viable Products (MVP) which have scaling potential.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Experience of influencing nontechnical executive stakeholders from around the business
  • Mentoring and coaching: Experience in mentoring and coaching technical and nontechnical teams
