Whatyou’ll be doing:

As a Plant and Equipment SeniorProject Manager, you will work as part of a team delivering a widerange of projects.These can vary from small off the shelf equipmentinstallations through to large dedicated / bespoke plant andequipment (machinery) including the associated civil, mechanicaland electrical infrastructure works. You will also be responsiblefor supporting the construction project management team incapturing manufacturing requirements, compiling electrical,mechanical and civil technical detail to facilitate the build ofnew onsite factories housing our manufacturing plant andequipment.
  • Leading all project phases,ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with company anddepartmental quality procedures Interpreting the customerrequirements, supporting preparation of designs, implementingplans, specification approvals and financial businesscases Collaborate with other teammembers & stakeholders to ensure success in your and yourcolleagues’ projects. Safe management and co-ordinationof onsite contractor activities Taking responsibility for allinstallations in accordance with the current company, statutoryhealth & safety legislation, building control and Construction(Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) Delivering best value and customersatisfaction by managing relationships with a range of suppliers Providing budgetary and financialcontrol

Your skills andexperiences:

  • Degree or HNC/D qualified inMechanical, Electrical, Production or Construction discipline wouldbe ideal, however other disciplines and relevant experience will beconsidered Experience in installation or commissioning production /manufacturing facilities, including special purpose machinery andbespoke equipment.To achieve this, we will also consider otherdisciplines such as, construction project management, civilengineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering,structural engineering, utilities and/or building servicesengineering. Wemay also consider other built environmentdisciplines Relevant qualifications or significant experience inmanaging contractor activities and ensuring construction Health& Safety (NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH, specific safetytopic training) Knowledge of construction and/or manufacturing plant& equipment installations Experience of managing contractors in full compliancewith the Construction (Design & Management)Regulations

The Plant and equipmentTeam: As an Infrastructure Plant &Equipment – Senior Project Manager, you will act as a client-side project manager to ensuresuccessful delivery of the design, planning and implementation of awide range of plant & equipment upgrades and new installationsacross the BAE Systems sites. This role will provide youwith a variety of work across all aspects of running amanufacturing environment and large secure industrial sites. Thisrole could involve occasional travel within the UK. Overseasopportunities may arise if deemed necessary in the design ordelivery of a project and is a great opportunity to expand yourknowledge & experience.
