Your commute: just outside Reading, we're 10 minutes from J11 of the M4, with fast and direct trains from London Paddington to Reading Train station. We also offer our colleagues a taxi shuttle service to and from Reading train station.

You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop.

Your skills and experience

• Ideally have knowledge of  food prep in a working kitchen enviroment 
• Aibility to work in a fast paced kitchen offering various food offerings to our guests
• Have the opportunity to develop your career with De Vere
• Have the  highest of standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety.

Alongside your day to day duties, you will complete the Commis Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship. This is a nationally recognised qualification designed to develop your understanding of how to carry out the basic functions in every section of the kitchen.

You will be supported through your Apprenticeship by our experienced senior chefs and they will share their knowledge and help you achieve your qualification.

We want to hear from inspired chefs to be who love creating amazing food from the best ingredients, have a keen eye for detail but with bags of flair and creativity.
