Job Title:        ClassTeacher

Location:       WessexLodge School, Frome (position to cover across alllocations) 

Salary:           From £31,650.00 per annum dependant onexperience

Hours:            40hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract:        Permanent,Term Time only

About the role

As aClass Teacher and under the reasonable direction of the HeadTeacher, carry out the professional duties of a teacher as outlinedin the job description.

You will ensureprovision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant anddifferentiated curriculum for students studying in the curriculumarea, in accordance with the aims of the school and the curricularpolicies.  You will contribute to raising standards of studentattainment and to facilitate and encourage a learning experiencewhich provides students with the opportunity to achieve their fullpotential.  You will develop and enhance the teaching practiceof others and to monitor and support the overall progress anddevelopment of students within the curriculum area.

Educated to Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm,engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching,motivated by helping every pupil to reach theirpotential.

Also, as you will be expected tocover across all 3 locations, a full UK Driving Licence isessential

Wessex Lodge School currentlycomprises of three sites: Wessex Lodge Primary School located inKilmington, Wessex Lodge Secondary School located in Frome, andNewmead Farm, located in Maiden Bradley. All sites allow studentsthe opportunity to explore the curriculum alongside a range ofsubject paths, including the likes of, animal care, horticulture,DT, and forest school, as well as sporting activities.
