BusinessArea: Transportation, Rail

Contract: Full Time,Permanent 

What will yourresponsibilities be?

As aSub-Agent, you'll be working within the Oxford team andwith Network Rail, to deliver Oxford Station Phase 2 workswhich will increase capacity through Oxford Station to accommodateadditional services planned from 2024.  You will manage thetechnical compliance of the project to the design specification tofulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to therequired quality.

What will your day to dayduties include?

  • You will support theSite Agent in managing a significant section of the project as theSub-Agent and support the implementation and monitoring of Health& Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier andNetwork Rail standards.
  • You will promoteintegrated working with other members within the project to createa one-team ethos, including development of team members and supportthe implementation and monitoring of PerformanceExcellence
  • You will be responsible forsupporting the Site Agent with cost management of your project,ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs, and forecaststhrough commercial awareness.
  • Support theimplementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies andprocedures in accordance with Kier and Network Railstandards.
  • Create a programme to plan andmeasure the weekly/ monthly lookahead.

  • You willhave the knowledge and experience of the main management systemsand processes used within a similar business, preferably from aUtilities or comparable settings.
  • Youwill have strong attention to detail, proactive approach to workand an enthusiastic, collaborative approach. The ability to work aspart of a team to deliver and commercial / Contractual awarenessis
  • You will be working towards becoming aChartered Member of the ICE and hold relevant qualifications –degree level, or equivalent experience.
