Our client, a trusted partner of the UK's Ministry of Defence, is looking for an experienced Facilities Management Data Analyst to be based at their Bristol site. The role involves managing a diverse range of construction and facilities projects, developing requirements, supporting procurement, and overseeing the delivery of works across the evolving Site. For larger-scale projects, this will also include managing designers and specialist consultants to ensure successful project delivery.

As a Facilities Project Manager, the successful candidate will join a small, dynamic team of Facilities Project Managers at the Bristol site, currently overseeing a major site redevelopment. This role will focus on business operational projects to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site during this exciting period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate construction and facilities projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant deliveries.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project requirements, support procurement, and produce fully costed business cases for senior management approval.
  • Manage projects valued up to £1 million, focusing on critical infrastructure upgrades and improvements.
  • Develop project plans, coordinate with internal teams, and oversee external contractors to achieve project milestones, with a thorough understanding of the RIBA stages of project delivery.
  • Conduct comprehensive site assessments, ensuring compliance with our client's high standards and regulations.
  • Utilise project management expertise to navigate projects, oversee quality control, and manage risks effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent people management skills, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, providing regular project updates, and collaborating with executive and director-level colleagues.
  • Implement efficient problem-solving strategies to address project challenges and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Proficient in managing construction projects with a focus on health and safety.
  • Excellent skills in leading and coordinating project teams.
  • Strong financial acumen, skilled in budgeting and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, able to influence effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, fostering positive relationships.
  • Proficient in using project management software tools.
  • Lead business operational projects, contributing to critical infrastructure upgrades and improvements.
