A bitabout the job: The role will support management of our exposures inthe Crisis Management class of business written by UKGI across theglobe. Working with representatives from across the business youwill be delivering improvements in the availability and accuracy ofour exposure data, providing insights that inform our underwritingstrategy and reinsurance placement. The position will includeimproving existing reporting processes to make them more efficientand give underwriters more meaningful insight. You will also workwith partners across the business to ensure data is complete andaccurate, whilst working with more junior members of the team tohelp them grow. Skills and experience we're looking for: *Extensive experience within an Exposure management / CatastropheModelling team is essential; experience in political violence,terror, contingency or Accident & Health classes of businesswould be desirable. * Practical experience of portfolio roll-up,implementing control frameworks, MI design, reporting andcommunication. * Strong understanding of key mathematical andstatistical concepts, and of CAT metrics such as PMLs and AALs. *Attention to detail, with an inquisitive, analytical mind-set – apassion for pulling things apart and understanding both how theywork and how they get used. * Experience in working within anappropriate control framework to ensure robust delivery of figuresfor reporting desirable.
