Our Reception team in our Cambridge Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Receptionist. Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.
As a Receptionist, you will:
Use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships.
Put people at ease when they visit your department.
Answer the phone, dealing with enquiries and booking appointments.
Welcome patients, in person, and directing them to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms.
Crucially, you will also help the department run smoothly by preparing clinical paperwork, referral forms and charge sheets, plus terms and conditions.
To succeed as a Receptionist, you will have:
Great communication skills.
The ability to explain sensitive or complicated information in a clear, sympathetic and easily understood way.
Ideally, you will have experience of working within Healthcare administration or a relevant reception environment.
Good IT and keyboard skills.

With expertise in Cancer care and Cancer surgery, Orthopaedic surgery (including robotic surgery), Neurosurgery, Cardiology as well as specialist Paediatric services. Backed by the latest diagnostic imaging facilities including wide bore MRI and CT scanning, we offer immediate assessment and expert diagnosis. Hospital facilities include 3 state of the art digital theatres, 32 beds, Surgical Day Case theatre/endoscopy suite, Surgical Day PODs, private consultation rooms, close monitoring units, Chemotherapy suite, on-site registered pharmacy, Diagnostic scanning unit and a Pathology laboratory.
