We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team and oversee the upkeep of our stunning country estate. Position: Maintenance Manager

Location: Dorset, United Kingdom

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting general property repair work, ensuring the estate remains in pristine condition.
  • Undertaking garden work to enhance the beauty of the estate's outdoor spaces.
  • Overseeing a small team of maintenance staff and external contractors.
  • Developing and implementing maintenance schedules to ensure the ongoing preservation of the estate.
  • Maintenance manager/Handyman for the property including a tennis court and swimming pool, & occasionally other UK properties
  • Additionally, as an occasional role, reporting to the Head Gardener, general maintenance and upkeep of a large garden (weeding, hedge cutting).

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in property maintenance, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Ability to perform various garden tasks, such as landscaping and gardening.
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A genuine passion for preserving and enhancing historic properties.
