Join our dynamic team at Great Western Exotics, a leading exotic animal specialty hospital located in Swindon. We are currently seeking enthusiastic candidates for avian and exotic internships. As a seven-vet, 100% exotic animal practice, our caseload encompasses Avian, Small Mammal, Reptile, and various zoological collections.

About us

Our state-of-the-art hospital has recently undergone extensive renovations, boasting an impressive equipment list and facilities, including four dedicated exotic animal wards, two theatres, computer tomography, fluoroscopy, both rigid and flexible endoscopy, ultrasonography, and radiography suites.

Applicant requirements
  • Background: Candidates with experience in both practice and small animal rotating internships are encouraged to apply. We also welcome exceptional new graduates.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Interns will actively participate in out-of-hours rota, including weekends.
  • Professional Membership: Applicants must be, or be eligible to become, a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
