Delivery Manager - Ecommerce Marketplace Platform

Our client is a leading e-commerce marketplace platform, revolutionising the way people shop for retail goods. They connect a vast network of sellers with discerning customers, offering a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.
The Role
As a Digital Delivery Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring their customers have a seamless shopping experience that is efficient and reliable. You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the delivery process but with an emphasis on the e-commerce side of things, from browsing to the moment an item is purchased and the journey that encompasses.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to optimise delivery efficiency and cost-effectivenessOversee on-time delivery performance and identify areas for improvementLead communication with stakeholders and set-up and facilitate Digital tribe portfolio ceremonies including planning and delivery syncsFacilitate squads to deliver business value, through coordinating dependencies and resolving impediments; ensuring that the e2e Digital solution can be delivered, including where there are third-party suppliers involvedWork in partnership with the wider business to orchestrate solutions that drive innovation and future digital thinkingStay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in ecommerce deliveryWork closely with other departments, such as Marketing and Sales, to ensure a seamless customer experienceAnalyse data and reports to identify areas for improvement across the entire delivery processStrong stakeholder management; ability to drive strong, open and sustained communication channels both within Digital tribes and with the wider stakeholder community.Expertise in agile methodologies and digital product developmentYou'll be a great fit if you have:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within ecommerce and retailA strong understanding of the consumer journey, including basket, checkout, and payment processesProven experience in managing and optimising delivery operationsExcellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skillsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA data-driven approach with a strong analytical mindA passion for customer service and a commitment to continuous improvementWhats on Offer:
