Queen Mary’s Grammar School, Walsall is an invigorating and rewarding place to work: the pupils are engaged and committed to study; the staff are intelligent, friendly and forward looking. Due to the departure of the current post holder, the growth of the school and the increasing popularity of the subject, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and dedicated teacher of RPE to lead that department. The ability to teach Religious Studies to GCSE and Philosophy to A Level is essential. We are also currently advertising for a position in the Psychology department and because of the curricular connections between that subject and RPE, a willingness to teach within that department would be an advantage. Applications are welcome from candidates interested in both leadership roles.

You will be a good communicator, enthusiastic about planning excellent lessons and designing resources, and willing to work as part of a team to secure meaningful outcomes for learners.
