Reporting to the Group Head of Marketing, as the Group Content Creator, you will be working with the wider marketing team to create on-brand content to sit across all channels. This role aims to enhance customer relationships, drive sales growth, and facilitate lead acquisition conversion, positioning you as a trusted content leader within the competitive Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance marketplace.

To be considered for this role, you will offer previous experience in a content creation role (ideally in a B2B setting) and have a track record of identifying target audiences and producing content that aligns with their needs.

You will have excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams. You’ll also communicate confidently and effectively as you will be building relationship and working with a variety of amazing people from across our business as well as external agencies.

And you won’t be afraid to get stuck in. Your role will be varied and provides an outstanding opportunity to join a highly successful Private Equity backed company with big plans ahead. Our Marketing team play a key part in ensuring our amazing commercial teams are supported with increased customer engagement and high performing websites as our thriving business grows.

What will I be doing?  

No two days are the same at BES Group and there are always lots of exciting projects to get involved with. As a Content Creator your key responsibilities will include:  

Conduct thorough audience research to best understand your target audience and their needs.

Work together with the wider marketing team to create and maintain the group content calendar for consistent and timely delivery across various platforms.

Create high-quality, engaging and compelling content for various channels including website, emails, blogs, events and social channels. Social content will play a huge part in this job role.

Maintain and reinforce messaging, brand voice and tone.

Working with the Digital team to make sure where needed, content is optimised for SEO purposes

Utilise data analytics to measure content performance, track success, and refine strategies for optimal results.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging content marketing technologies.

Work closely with sales leaders to gain insights into customer preferences, changing attitudes, new competition, and other factors to ensure success of campaign activity.

Partner closely with external marketing agency to ensure content aligns with the wider digital marketing strategy.

What experience do I need?  

You will offer previous experience as a content marketing role, ideally in a B2B setting or professional services industry, with a solid understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles and best practices. We are open to different experience levels and content marketing backgrounds but to work for us you will also have the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do; Keeping Britain Safe. You’ll also offer:  

Previous experience in a content creation role – written, visual and perhaps even video across all channels, with a focus on social platform Linked In.

Experience of understanding target audiences and creating specific content aligned to their needs.

Good understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles and best practices and content analytics (desirable)

Proficiency in using content management systems and related tools. Familiarity with AI tools and using AI to enhance the content creation process.

Previous experience in a B2B setting or professional services industry (desirable)

Be a creative thinker with a good eye for design and an appetite to test bold new approaches to content creation.

Flexibility and willingness to travel to other business sites on occasion, as well as work outside core office hours as required by nature of role

Full UK driving licence

Ideally, you will also have:

A bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related qualification (desirable)

Previous experience in a B2B setting or professional services industry (desirable)

Experience of using design and editing tools such as Canva and Adobe product suite.
