A Financial Accountant is needed to join the Accounting & Finance department in the Life Science industry. The successful candidate should have a strong accounting background, a detail-oriented approach and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. This is a fantastic opportunity for a 1st or 2nd time mover who is seeking a broad finance role with a wide variety of tasks.

Client Details

Our client is a reputable organisation in the Life Science industry, boasting a strong team of employees. Situated in North Yorkshire, they are known for providing cutting-edge services and products that significantly improve the quality of life for their consumers. They are seeking Financial Accountant to join their team asap.

Description

Statutory Reporting

· Support in the production of Group statutory accounts

· Respond to external auditor query request list

· Actively engage to ensure clean year-end audit report

Management Reporting

· Provide financial accounting support and input into monthly management reporting

· Financial modelling to facilitate European and US entity reporting

· Adoption of new accounting standards and technical accounting rules to support International Reporting

· Assist with group accounts consolidation

· Support preparation of the monthly Board Pack

Budget & Forecasting

· Contribute to annual Budget and reforecasting process

M&A

· Support business M&A growth plans

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

· CIMA / ACCA / ACA

· Ideally 2 years post qualification experience

· Knowledge of IFRS

· A proven track record of demonstrating good financial governance

· Strong financial reporting skills (Forecasting / Performance analysis)

· Treasury reporting
