Pertemps are looking for an experienced Stock Controller for our client based in Burton Upon Trent on a fixed term contract for 18 months to cover maternity leave. 
This is a varied role not only working in the office but supporting other departments. This is a friendly working environment.

Hours 35hrs per week Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm with an hour lunch break.

Salary £23,660 per annum.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Produce stock from process sheets, varying levels of work-in-progress through to finished goods.
  • Prepare daily loading list for goods being dispatched to customers.
  • Record and monitor raw material purchase prices.
  • Create purchase order requests from various staff members.
  • Update and maintain supplier catalogue prices.
  • Enter goods receipts into system.
  • Manage monthly physical stock take and reconcile volumes with the system investigating variances.
  • Enter/update bill of materials in the system.
  • Create new products in the system
  • Ensure correct barcoding of products/create new barcodes
  • Ability to communicate with non-financial staff members to rectify issues/queries.
 
 Requirements:
  • Organised
  • Methodical
  • Good with excel
  • Hands on â going down to warehouse/production to speak to production supervisors
  • Link between production and accounting.
