The Role\r
\r

Understanding the needs of data across the business, be a champion for clarity and consistency within data and empower the business with enriched data models.\r
\r

The Data Visualisation Manager will lead the data visualisation and data enablement workstreams at New Look. This individual will unify existing workstreams and drive incremental value through a dedicated focus on data literacy training and dashboarding support. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality visualisations that facilitate data-driven decision-making, ensuring all stakeholders can access and interpret data effectively. Additionally, they will foster a culture of data literacy within the organisation, equipping teams with the skills to leverage data in their roles.\r

Role Responsibilities\r

\r

Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of data professionals. \r
Data Mining: Explore opportunities to add or enhance existing data sets that deliver incremental value to New Look. \r
Data Enablement: Experience of delivering and measuring the impact of reporting & data visualisation solutions. \r
Data Governance: Responsible for ensuring the validity of the data being communicated through reports and championing the creation of data catalogues to empower self-serve data discovery. \r
Optimisation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimisation through the use of targeted analytics and reporting. \r
Collaborate: Manage a complex mix internal business stakeholders and external vendors to execute the data visualisation strategy for business enablement. \r
Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices in analytics and emerging technologies. \r

Technical Knowledge & Experience\r
\r

\r

Advanced knowledge of analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics or Looker, with a preference for candidates with advanced Power BI experience and rolling out data enablement programmes with this tool set. \r
Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to non-analysts. \r
Proven experience in leading data enablement projects from conception to implementation. Including strong project planning and management skills. \r
Strong understanding of analytical coding skills and the limitations they may hold. (SQL, Python, DAX, VBA, R, etc...) \r
Excellent communication and presentation skills." \r
