What you'll do

  • Lead the development and improvement of Sky Mobile and Glass reporting, from the extraction of information housed in our databases to its visualisation in the dashboards you’ll create.

  • Analyse trends contained in this data and work with other members of the Performance team to present this in a compelling way to senior stakeholders.

  • Work closely with Sky Data and other technical teams to ensure Credit Risk can access the latest information wherever changes are made at a database/source level.

  • Work with the Capability & Change Risk manager to track new reporting requirements or technical requests.

  • Work with the Service Manager to report and explain any reporting issues that arise from time to time.

 

What you'll bring

 

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Mathematics/Engineering/Statistics or related technical field, or equivalent related professional experience in applied analytical and statistics 

  • An analytical mind that enjoys deciphering trends and presenting findings back to a wider audience 

  • Strong SQL skills and an understanding of database architectures

  • Able to identify methods for collecting data, performing advanced data analyses and manipulation, articulating findings 

  • Experience using and building tableau dashboards 

  • Experience of working with the Google Cloud Platform

  • Knowledge or a strong understanding of the Credit Risk world, ideally having analysed Risk data in a previous role 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to manipulate data in Excel using tools such as Pivot tables

 

 

Team overview

The Consumer Credit Risk team plays a central role within Sky’s Consumer Group protecting customers’ financial position whilst enabling Sky’s commercial ambitions across UK & Europe. The UK vertical within this team is responsible for driving Risk performance across UK product lines.
