This role will work closely with the Finance Director and Managing Director of the largest division within the Group to support a range on non-standard financial matters, which could range from analysis on performance, M&A activity, KPIs and business planning. The role also has some traditional finance elements however these will be consolidation of results and analysis performance.

Description

  • Drive the financial planning and forecasting processes across the company
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to support decision making
  • Partner with business leaders to understand and drive financial performance
  • Manage a team of finance professionals, providing coaching and development
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Participate in strategic planning and support the execution of business strategies
  • Conduct risk analysis and implement mitigation strategies
  • Support the annual budgeting process

Profile

Relevant Experience and Qualifications

  • Operating within a senior or mid-level Finance role.
  • Working within a multi-divisional, global environment.
  • Hold an Accounting qualification with relevant PQE.
  • Interrogating and identifying key drivers of business performance.
  • Relevant sector experience.
  • Experience partnering with and supporting the business and senior stakeholders.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent attention to detail whilst recognising the demands of a Global organisation.
  • Good operational financial reporting, planning and evaluation capabilities.
  • Good MS Excel skills for data analysis and scenario/sensitivity modelling.
  • Willingness to be 'hands on' in their work.
  • Desire to grow and develop in role, and progress into senior Finance roles.
  • Take a proactive approach and demonstrate ownership of their work within the team.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • A problem solver, with ability to understand complex business drivers and articulate these to senior stakeholders.
  • Be able to build good working relationships on an international scale.

Job Offer

  • £65-75k, with stretch available (focus is on getting the right candidate) plus a car allowance of £7.3k.
  • Bonus up to 10% dependent on company and personal performance.
  • Pension : 2% employee, 8% employer or 3%/9% or 4%/10%.
