We are seeking a committed Support Worker to join our team and help us continue providing exceptional care and support.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children in a residential setting.
  • Work within a shift-based rota, including early mornings, late evenings, and overnight sleep shifts.
  • Support children in developing independent living skills, educational pursuits, and recreational activities.
  • Manage and respond to challenging behaviours with patience and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with organisational policies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all residents.

Requirements:

  • Direct experience working in a children's home.
  • Proven ability to manage and respond to challenging behaviours.
  • Must be able to work every other weekend.
  • Full driving license and ability to drive as part of the role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desired but not essential).
