We are an approved supplier for Novastar who are the Global leader in LED software with a large range of stock available from our UK warehouse.

What you'll be doing:

Shift: from 7.30am 4.30pm (however due to the nature of the business we would expect weekend work as and when required notice would be given).

As a Warehouse Manager you'll manage the warehouse stock and the team within the warehouse, ensuring they meet the business needs and the daily requirements of stock inbound and outbound, picking stock and managing all the orders in the system ensuring that the operational key performance indicators and P&L reporting is achieved.

  • Provide leadership and direction to the warehouse team to ensure that there is an adequate resource plan, and that colleagues are supported in their roles and have clear KPI s.
  • Lead the risk assessment, accident investigation, operational inspection and behavioural monitoring processes that ensures a safe workplace and operation and appropriate corrective actions.
  • Manage operational controls, including administration and system compliance, to ensure that operational information relating to warehouse activities is accurate to demonstrate control in the event of an audit or investigation along with monthly stock reports leading into the annual stock management report.
  • Manage development and engagement activities across the shift, to ensure that colleagues are enabled and delivering maximum performance with a quarterly one to one meeting.
  • Manage operational costs associated with the warehouse shift, in order to achieve key performance indicators.
  • Manage any contractor activity taking place on the shift to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Manage all warehouse deliveries and collections.
  • Ensuring at all time the warehouses and the warehouse yard is clean and tidy.

  • People management experience (i.e. management of absence, disciplinary and grievances etc)
  • Standard driving licence and fork lift licence is essential
  • Manual handling certificate along with safety experience
  • Financial understanding
  • Health and safety operational experience
  • Computer experience is essential These may be trained or developed.
