About the Company:

A professional practice providing commercial support within the utilities and pipeline industries throughout the UK, Ireland and Worldwide.

Services cover a broad range of comprehensive project engineering, management and delivery services to fulfil the variety of the clients requirements from individual project schemes, complex projects and long term framework contracts.

About the Role:

Reporting to the UK Director and working within a team of 10 - 15 professionals.

This role will progress into a management role where you can build a team to work under you.

You will be working within the gas sector and therefore would need experience of doing so previously.

Duties:

  • Provide EC&I technical services to existing gas clients
  • To meet the requirements of the agreed schedule identified within the project plan for the EC&I deliverables as assigned by the Framework Manager
  • Effectively liaise with the Framework Manager to solve any problems which arise.
  • To provide technical input during design phase, with an emphasis on constructability of the design.
  • Creating electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, and instrument loop diagrams.

About You:

  • Solid experience of Electrical Control and instrumentation engineering specifically in projects. Modifications, testing and technical review of documentation within the energy sector in particular Hazardous Area experience is essential.
  • Experience of instrumentation specification and design integration
  • Extensive knowledge of control and instrument design standards
  • Delivery focused and able to achieve business critical timescales and work under pressure.
  • Previous site works experience is desirable.
  • A strong understanding of the Gas industry and design standards.
