We are looking for a Junior Product Developer to join our ever-growing dynamic team to take on responsibilities for new sports ranges, as well as developing our existing ones. This consists of being involved in every stage of the product development life cycle, from end to end.

What you'll do: 

Ensuring that all new projects follow structured processes implemented within the team to act as a guide to successful Product Development.

Carry out extensive market research on assigned projects to assess current market trends, competition, and build extensive product ranges. Ability to present findings to relevant employees in a clear, confident, and concise manner.

Staying up to date with market and competitor trends within your assigned product categories and working to continuously expand our product range and enhance our position in said categories.

Ensuring all suppliers and products undergo a thorough sourcing and due diligence process.

Testing product samples, spotting issues and having a critical thinking mindset toward product development

Ability and confidence to negotiate with suppliers in order to ensure key factors of the product/project are to the high standards held.

Comfortably manage multiple ongoing projects at varying levels of progress effectively.

A thorough understanding of our competitors so that we can analyse, and benchmark help align our product development strategy.

Confidently present developed product ranges to relevant senior employees, in order to bring the product to market.

Ability to work closely with other key departments in the business to ensure a smooth and successful product launch.

Confidently communicate with internal and external stakeholders to a high standard.

Effectively managing supplier relations and ensuring they are healthy and productive.

What you'll bring:

Moderate experience with Microsoft Excel is essential.

The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple tasks at once.

A strong desire to achieve results and meet both internal and external

The ability to adapt to situations when they don’t go how they were originally outlined.

Solid negotiation skills.

A passion for sports or familiarity with the sporting world is highly beneficial, but not necessary.

A minimum of 6-12 months’ experience within Product Development, Buying or Product Design is essential.
