Role Description
The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a construction-based firm based within the midlands, Kettering region who are expanding their commercial team by on boarding an Estimator.
As an Estimator, you will be tasked to carry out take-offs, bills of quantities, cost plans and tenders for a range of clients including, sub-contractors, developers and private clients. In addition, you will assist reviewing residential and commercial projects with new and existing clients.
Day to day duties will vary but could include:
- Completing tenders on behalf of clients based on architectural, structure engineer, and specialist drawings, plans and specifications.
- Establishing connections with various individuals across the tendering process including suppliers, subcontractors and specialists to allow collaboration.
- Perform accurate take-offs for various residential and commercial projects, utilising measuring take-off tools and software for precision.
- Supporting the estimating and managing director as required.
- Discussing and establishing potential value engineering regarding projects to aid clients in meeting budgets.
Qualifications / Experience
- Previous industry experiences working within the building industry (e.g., residential, commercial, building merchant etc.,).
- Holding relevant experience amounting to a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Deadline-driven, highly organised and proficient with industry trends and regulations.
- Effectively managing multiple projects.
