Required for September 2024 The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School is seeking to employ a Full-time, Permanent Teacher of Mathematics
The Governors of The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School require a highly motivated and hardworking teacher of Mathematics who is committed to raising the achievements of our students. You will be joining a strong specialist team with a track record of success and a passion for teaching Mathematics. You will teach in designated teaching rooms with outstanding teaching resources and will be part of a large, extraordinarily successful Mathematics team. Applicants with experience in teaching A Level are particularly welcome to apply.
In 2023 42% of Maths GCSE pupils achieved grades 9-7 whilst 73% achieved grades 9-5. In terms of Further Maths, 80% achieved grades 9-7 whilst 98% achieved 9-5.
Also in 2023 36% of Maths A Level students achieved grades A*-A whilst 62% achieved A-B. In terms of Further Maths, 58% achieved A*-A whilst 92% achieved A-B.
