We are recruiting for a Project Manager, on a contract basis,to support the UK&I Integration Manager in driving the execution of entity rationalisation and other integration projects as required. This individual will act as a primary contact for key operational stakeholders in the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring they achieve the core objectives and timescales.

Overview of duties


Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to develop the entity rationalisation strategy and programme planCo-ordinate in-house functional teams and third-party professional services firms (consultancy and legal) in the delivery of specific workstreams of the programmeSupport the UK&I integration lead in establishing appropriate governance and assurance controls to facilitate decision-making, manage strategic risks and ensure business readiness for changeIdentify and escalate cross-functional risks, issues, and decisions that arise, facilitating their mitigation and resolution with the programme team and business stakeholdersIdentify, track and manage critical interdependencies across various workstreams including finance, tax, regulatory, operations and restructuringChair project delivery groups and report progress to the relevant Steering Committee and Integration Management OfficeSolicit inputs from operational stakeholders to facilitate change management of the programme and retain pace of change alongside all other change effortsCodify the entity rationalisation process by documenting process and building out templates and tools to make it repeatable for subsequent acquisitionsAct as a trusted partner to the UK&I Integration Lead and IMO colleagues, supporting as a collaborator in identifying innovative ways to move the programme forward



Person specification

Knowledge, skills and abilities:

Deep knowledge of change management with exposure and understanding of business operating model re-engineering, including business and process analysisCredible and solution-oriented professional with advanced stakeholder engagement and communication skillsStrong analytical skills and ability to deal with complex problemsA keen ability to execute and deliver results and act with a sense of urgencyExcellent organizational and planning skills, with a proven ability to manage time well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentAbility to collaborate and quickly build effective working relationships

Education / and or Experience

3+ years of project management experience, with direct accountability for delivery of business transformation programmesHands-on experience of managing complex change programmes in dynamic environmentsExperience in insurance operations and/or benefits operationsExperience in managing third-party vendors and teams


PLEASE NOTE: We are looking for applicants with direct experience within Business Change project Management, not IT Project Management.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 35 Hours

Work Type: 12 Month Contract

Location: Bromsgrove / Birmingham Hybrid
