Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Science

Our established School of Sport and Exercise Science within the College of Science and Engineering is looking to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Clinical Exercise Science to contribute to the teaching, curriculum development, research and consultancy in the discipline area of Sport and Exercise Science.

You must have relevant experience to deliver high quality provision within the area(s) of physiology, rehabilitation, and/or physical activity. Furthermore, professional experience in the Clinical Exercise Science sector is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the research and/or consultancy agenda within the School of Sport and Exercise Science.
You will join a highly committed team that provide a range of degree programmes in Sport and Exercise Science. With high professional standing and high standards we would expect that you would not only provide an impetus for teaching, curricular development, research and/or consultancy in your specialist area, but also contribute to the team effort in delivering the programmes for which the whole discipline area is responsible.

This role is eligible for sponsorship by the University, however, your individual circumstances must meet the criteria set out by UKVI; this includes meeting the English Language requirement and earning a salary that meets the highest of either the going rate for the SOC code or the minimum salary threshold for the Skilled Worker route (£38,700 per annum).
If the role is eligible, but the offered salary is less that the going rate for the role, you may still be able to apply for a Skilled Worker visa if:
- Your job is on the Immigration Skills List
- You’re under 26, studying or a recent graduate, or in professional training
- You have a PhD level qualification that’s relevant to your job
- You have a postdoctoral position in science or higher education
