Term time plus (40 weeks), permanent Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Salary dependent on experience

The Role:

The Junior School’s Secretary partners closely with the Senior Leadership team at Junior to support events, day to day operations and provides a professional and friendly front of house presence and a prompt, courteous and supportive response to all enquiries. 

The Junior School Secretary partners with the School Secretary team across all divisions ensuring a smooth flow of communication to parents.  They will work closely with the admissions and marketing team to ensure the parents' experience of the school, from meeting and greeting prospective parents right through to the day their son or daughter joins the school, is exemplary. You will be one of the first points of contact so your presence and energy have a big impact on the parents' experience.

This permanent role is available as a term-time plus role (40 weeks) working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm.


To be successful in this role, you must be:

Experience as a School Secretary or equivalent role Substantial relevant experience that demonstrates a high order of literacy, numeracy, analytical, and IT skills or educated to degree level or equivalent Excellent presence and customer service skills and the ability to liaise confidently with pupils, parents, staff, and visitors Be willing and able to work flexibly out of hours on occasion to support open events and parent evenings Ability to work well with others, as part of a mutually supportive and forward-thinking team Confident using ICT  Engaged with the School's ethos, thinking creatively and reflectively within an open, honest and hardworking team
