Please note that the Academy are offering additional responsibilities from September for the right candidate including pastoral and/or student leadership responsibilities. This can be discussed further at interview if interested.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively alongside the English team to deliver strong outcomes for all our students and will play a key roles in shaping the future success of our students.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly collaborative and innovative team of teachers and Academic Coaches. The English department have created a mutually supportive culture and greatly enjoy working together. Our curriculum is rich in high quality, challenging literature from across time and across the world. Lessons in English aim to encourage independence, enquiry, creativity and academic rigour. Speaking and listening is at the centre of students’ daily classroom experience and lessons always provide opportunities for discussion and debate.
