-Planning of Church Programs and Activities focusing on Music and Worship

-Coordination of the Music, Choir, and Worship Units of the church

-Leading the Churchs Music and Worship programs

-Coordinate weekly rehearsals of the choir and instrumentalists.


Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required for Music Director

-The post occupier must hold a minimum of Secondary School education.

-A strong personal Christian faith.

-A good knowledge of Church Music and Afro-Christian Songs

-Knowledge of at least 2 musical instruments

-Ability to teach some musical instruments

-An ability to work within and maintain professional boundaries when working with people.

-Understanding and knowledge of confidentiality and safeguarding issues.

-A commitment and ability to work with people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
