Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Transport Operative for our leading transport provider based in Wednesbury.

As a Transport Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of transport services. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

 Duties will include (but are not limited to):
-Briefing and managing drivers
-Assist in planning and optimising delivery routes
-Dealing with any issues from drivers in a prompt manner
-Ensure all transport operations comply with relevant regulations, including health and safety standards
-Communicating with drivers and other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve issues
-Ensuring that paperwork is completed to a high standard, making sure that all areas are completed
-Maintaining accurate logs of vehicle usage, fuel consumption and deliveries
-Provide excellent customer service

The Ideal Candidate:
-Previous experience is preferable however not essential
-Someone who wants to grow and progress within the business
-Excellent communication skills
-Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and paperwork
-Ability to think on your feet to resolve issues quickly
-Ability to work well in a team

Hours:
9am â 6pm from Monday â Friday

Pay Rate:
Dependent on experience

This is a temporary to permanent position for the successful candidate.
A role which allows career progression.
Immediate starts available.
