Science Technician

Hours: 24 hours per week term time only plus 5 INSET days
The key role of the technician is to ensure that the departmental resources are appropriately maintained and will involve the following:
Preparation, assembling and modifying apparatus and equipment.Assisting in practical classes & carrying out demonstrations Ensuring Health & Safety standards are upheld. Organising, storing, and checking the condition of art material, including checking, and returning equipment to stores.Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge is committed to ensuring that students achieve their full potential and flourish in a school where expectations of ourselves and our students are high. We operate a system of ‘ME days’ allowing staff to request an additional day off per year to attend special events such as children’s sports days and graduations, family and friends' weddings.
