Due to expansion, Cotswold Porsche Specialists Ltd , a well regarded independent Porsche specialists have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Service Technician / Mechanic to join their team.

Our business is tight knit. Our workshop currently has three experienced technicians, managed by a workshop controller and supported by a service administrator. We have in excess of 1500 customers who expect the highest levels of service and attention.

We are based in Toddington, Gloucestershire between Evesham, Tewkesbury and Cheltenham. There is no public transport.

You must hold the NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent , be hardworking, able to work on your own initiative with minimal supervision and have the ability to fit into a small professional team.

Prestige car and main dealer experience is desirable. You must have experience of using diagnostic equipment. A full UK driving license is required.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 8.00am - 16:30pm although flexibility is required.

Job Description:
Carrying out vehicle maintenance and repairs on the full range of Porsche models
Fault diagnosis together with recommendations for repair
Maintaining a high level of vehicle knowledge
To perform all work assigned in a timely manner, economically and to Company and Manufacturers standards.
To advise the workshop controller if additional work is required on a vehicle and seek their assistance and authority in the rectification of faults.
To maintain a high level of competence for the work to be undertaken by undergoing on-site training, attending courses at suppliers and manufacturers and reading technical bulletins as required
To discuss with customers, problems with the vehicle as requested.
To ensure the Company image of professionalism and quality of service is maintained when dealing with customers.
To operate equipment and carry out all duties in a safe manner.
To maintain equipment, protective clothing and work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
To assist management with the introduction of new methods of work designed to improve efficiency
To carry out any other duties as required

Relevant Experience & Qualifications:
Vehicle Technician: 5 years (Preferred)
NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent.
Previous experience within a main dealer is desirable although not essential.
Be able to comply with all company and manufacturers disciplines and procedures

License or certification:
Full Clean Driving License (Required)
