They are now looking for a Therapeutic Recovery Worker to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working on a four-week rolling rota, which will involve evening, night, and weekend work.

The Role
As a Therapeutic Support Worker, you will manage and develop personalised care plans for a caseload of less than five women.
Conducting assessments, you will work not only with the users of our client’s services but also with their families and wider networks. You will ensure everyone is equipped with the tools and knowledge essential for long-term recovery.
You will deliver therapeutic groups, activities, and specialised interventions according to service needs, championing a culture which is safe, compliant, and truly fosters compassion and development.
Additionally, you will:
- Co-ordinate the care process for service users, from admission through to discharge
- Produce comprehensive reports and analyses
- Ensure service users are appropriately assessed and inducted into the programme
About You
To be considered as a Therapeutic Recovery Worker, you will need:
- Relevant experience and training in group work
- Experience of working with substance users
- Experience of working in the field of substance misuse (or a comparable field)
- Knowledge of therapeutic communities
- An S/NVQ 3 in Care (Danos-accredited) or equivalent
This role will be working in a women’s-only residential service specialising in providing safe therapeutic environments for those who have experienced multiple disadvantage and those who have experienced past trauma. Therefore, there is an Operational Requirement for this role to be fulfilled by a female (determined compliant under ACAS guidelines for recruiting applicants with a protected characteristic to do a certain job).
