London Office
In October 2020, our client took the leap and moved their HQ from a small loft-style office on the South Bank to a large open plan office on the Strand in Central London. The office is a bright space full of plants and is equipped with a full-spec kitchen and showers/bike storage in the basement.

With an endless plethora of restaurants, shops and bars nearby, they feel very lucky that they get to work in such an iconic part of London.

We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to join our clients team in London.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering revenues through a combination of net new business and cross-selling to existing relationships.
You will bring long-term value to each of our clients larges enterprise accounts through deep customer understanding and engagement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Develop deep, trusted, and lasting relationships with tier-one clients
• Cultivate new commercial opportunities through product expansion and contract renewal negotiation
• Work with stakeholders and lead the build-out of a first-in-class Strategic Account Management capability that is both scalable and commercially viable as a net new contributor to revenue growth
• Manage contract renewals and lead commercial negotiations for expansions (including upsells and cross-selling)
• Work with internal stakeholders to build relationships, drive growth in existing clients and identify and build new client relationships in order to deliver opportunities and profitable growth
• Accurately forecast and deliver consistently against monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals
• Develop and execute long-term account strategies across our enterprise customers to grow usage and retain high customer satisfaction rates
• Bring discipline, structure, and support to account teams through management information, market insight, knowledge sharing, and meeting preparation
• Have a deep understanding of our client’s priorities and strategies
• Drive customer feedback into our clients Product Team to help prioritise the road map for our customers' needs
• Stay up to date on product developments and ensure the customer is informed and educated on all new functional modules and features of the software

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Capital Markets experience either with an Investment Bank, Asset Manager, Hedge Fund or technology firm that sells into the Capital Markets sector
• Experience in Sales, Consulting, or Business Development in a technical environment (e.g., working with developers and their supporting teams)
• An understanding or comprehension of Front and Middle Office, Trade & Communication Surveillance, and the issues surrounding Market Abuse will be extremely beneficial
• You must enjoy taking a consultative approach with many different personas as many of our clients are often C-Suite Compliance Officers, Product Managers, Developers, Project Managers, and Heads of Trading professionals
• Strong desire to learn about the platform and ability to sell into our accounts with credibility
• Understanding of best practice account management with the ability to implement both strategic and tactical initiatives
• Strong knowledge of a sales methodology and proven experience in driving opportunities through to revenue
• Excellent communication skills and gravitas with senior stakeholders, (both clients and senior staff) as well as demonstrate a thorough understanding of the strategic business drivers for global and complex clients
• Ability to navigate within large financial institutions to identify key decision-makers and stakeholders
• Ability to exceed customer expectations through responsiveness and insightful handling of customer challenges
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills across financial institutions
