Are you an experienced and qualified maintenance technician with plumbing bias who has worked in public sector organisations such as universities, hospitals, social housing.
The organisation
My client manages 2,700 properties with 6,300 customers across England. Their properties range from listed buildings to new integrated care centres and include hospitals, GP practices and offices. They partner with Integrated Care Boards and local organisations to help them plan and manage their estates to unlock greater value and ensure every patient can get the care they need in the right place and space for them. This position is based in Walsall and covers the Walsall, Wolverhampton and Cannock area.
About the Role

As an Maintenance Technician you will work within a team to provide reactive, scheduled and remedial maintenance services across various sites.
You will be responsible for:

Deliver Scheduled, Reactive and Remedial maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner (CAFM), helpdesk or Technical Services Supervisor, ensuring that operational standards are always maintained.Duties may include (but not limited to) fault finding, minors repairs or installations and maintaining services and equipment within critical environments.Ability to assess problems to determine the best course of action, this would include complex technical issues and be able to communicate technical and or complex information to various stakeholders.Ensure compliance in accordance with all Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policies, relevant Technical Guidance, Process and Procedures, Statutory Regulations, Approved Codes of Practice.Ensure that new or revised practice and policies are implemented within own work areas.You may be required to undertake tasks in disciplines other than your own.To maintain effective site log books at all
premises where required, ensuring that they are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications - At least one of the below:BTEC City & Guilds plus relevant experience and training.NVQ Level 3 Plumbing/Heating Engineering or equivalent.Formal apprenticeship or craft trained equivalent
Additional Requirements:Driving licence is essentialMust be comfortable using technological devices to log jobs.On-Call availabilityDesirable to have industry experienceAbility to work alone and/or as part of a wider team as this role will require you to work cohesively with other Technical Disciplines.
