Job title: Principal Electrical Engineer

Salary: Negotiable, Depending on experience
What you'll be doing:
- Joining the team responsible for producing 3D models of Electrical Systems, Electrical Compartments and Cableways Integration, you will get the opportunity to have direct involvement in the design of our World Class Submarines
- You can make your mark, utilising your knowledge and experience, advising other members and sharing best practice ensuring work is to standard while also building upon your skills
- You will also have involvement in supporting the Manufacturing and Production teams with Product and Delivery by producing 2D Schematic & cabling diagrams
- Working jointly with the client to produce an Integrated Design that meets expectations and agreed set of requirements on a project you just wont find anywhere else
Your skills and experiences:
- Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification OR previous experience working in an Electrical Design role
- Experience / knowledge of a CAD toolset 2D Drawing & 3D Modelling
- Confident in sharing knowledge and advising others within a team

The Design team:
You will be joining the Design team who work to produce 3D models and 2D drawings for our World Class Submarine programmes. You will be supported in your role with training and mentoring from colleagues to ensure you are set up for success within our business. The role also includes work to produce a Bill of Materials for your specific area in the Submarine Design and will provide you with the exciting challenge of working with the stakeholder groups to drive the successful resolution of design vs spatial problems. Future career progression could include Lead Designer or leadership roles within the team.
