Reed Accountancy are currently partnered with an established client in the Crawley area in the recruitment of a Finance Assistant to join their team. As Finance Assistant you will have experience in a similar finance role and be comfortable with credit control and invoicing.

Day to Day duties of the Finance Assistant:
Manage credit control and ensure timely invoicing of customersSet up and oversee Direct Debit customers and payments.Oversee weekly and monthly payment runs, ensuring all payments are made within agreed timescales.Assist with updating spreadsheets.Handle printing, stamping, and coding of supplier invoices.Enter invoices onto the system and approve supplier invoices.Force clearing of invoices on the system as needed.Resolve any invoice queries, maintaining an accurate log.Review supplier statements and chase missing invoices when necessary.Monitor the Accounts inbox and address queries received via email.Monitor supplier account credit limits and manage accordingly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Demonstrable experience in a finance-related role.Excellent numeracy, written, and computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word.Methodical approach with excellent attention to detail and the ability to show initiative.A positive, can-do attitude.
