The role

As an Engineering Manager you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll have the opportunity to lead and shape multi-disciplinary projects from concept design through to full Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC). You'll drive innovation, develop strategic capabilities, and manage a dynamic team, making a real impact by delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions.

Day-to-day, you'll manage and control complex engineering projects, ensuring seamless integration of multi-discipline tasks and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

  • Lead and manage multi-discipline teams to deliver engineering projects efficiently and on time.
  • Foster collaboration across engineering and other functional teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to support project development and resolve technical challenges.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of engineering outputs to ensure alignment with project scope.
  • Uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices, promoting a culture of ethics and safety within the team.

This role is full time 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Engineering Manager

  • Proven experience as a principal engineer, with strong leadership and management skills, including experience managing multi-discipline teams across various project types.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage fixed-price projects, adhering to timelines, budgets, and delivering results.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries.

Qualifications for the Engineering Manager

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.

Security Clearance
