Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are supporting our client, a successful manufacturing company based in the Fife area, we are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their established finance team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities include

  • Providing line management support to a team of 5.
  • Assist with the month-end close and management accounts preparation.
  • Assist in ensuring all balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled.
  • Assist with weekly cash flow.
  • Posting Payroll.
  • Ensure stock valuations are correct in the ERP system.
  • Assist with the yearend close and working papers.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts, quarterly and annual budgets.
  • Provide ad hoc requests from finance stakeholders.
  • Monthly VAT returns.
  • Assist in Capex projects.
  • Assist in implementing, managing, and monitoring company KPIs.
  • Provide commercial finance support to engineering projects team.

Experience Required

  • Qualified ACCA, CIMA, Part Qualified or QBE will be considered.
  • Previous management accounting experience.
  • Previous experience of managing a team.
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing, engineering, supply chain sector.
  • Strong communication skills, able to present to non-financial staff and Stakeholders and build strong internal relationships.
  • Exceptional data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Advanced MS Excel and ideally ERP system experience.
