Davies Court is a residential care unit based in Dinnington. This is a 60 bedded unit delivering two services, dementia care and intermediate care (rehabilitation).

The intermediate care team sits within Davies court and works closely with the NHS our aim is to facilitate hospital discharges to enable a person to return home.

As a home/service we pride ourselves in providing our residents with the best possible care to enable them to lead a positive and an independent life as possible. We operate a person-centred approach and work closely with our residents, families and other agencies to provide the best possible care. We offer a friendly and supportive work environment, and we are looking for individuals who want to be part of a caring and supportive team to make our home be the best home from home.

The successful candidates will have:-   

Experience/understanding of the social and emotional needs of individuals and how to best meet those needs Ability to demonstrate excellent and clear communication skills, demonstrate empathy and be able to listen and to understand and support individual circumstances and needs Practical person and ability to identify and solve day to day problems Understanding of Safeguarding Understanding of Health and Safety, the safe handling of medications and a good basic first aid knowledge

NQF Level 1 qualification e.g. GCSEs Grades 3-1, NVQs Level 1, GNVQs Foundation, City and Guilds Part 1 Or

Evidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience
