Our client based in Dumfries, Southwest Scotland, are currently looking to recruit an IT Systems Engineer.

As an innovation leader, they are looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individual to join their team, working full-time from the Dumfries office.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth implementation of the SAP S/4 Hana ERP system across the region and will provide continuous support for their systems.

Reporting to the IT Systems & Services Program Manager, the ideal candidate will be instrumental in taking hands-on approach in the maintenance and optimization of key hardware and software within operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support a variety of Manufacturing IT and OT hardware and software applications.
  • Ensure seamless operation of applications including MES, QMS, CMMS, SCADA, among others.
  • Oversee and assist with technology stacks including Wonderware/Aveva Intouch/Historian, Microsoft as well as SAP Manufacturing, SAP PM, SAP QM.
  • Provide support for the SAP S/4 Hana project team.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • Recent graduates with relevant degrees or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing IT/OT support setting.

Skills:

  • A solid foundation in industrial/manufacturing systems, especially Wonderware/Aveva and Microsoft technologies including SQL Databases
  • Keen understanding of IT/OT Manufacturing applications, including SAP Manufacturing systems.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing operations and processes.
