Advice Specialist (Financial Advisor)

Belfast - Hybrid

We are growing our business and have some exciting opportunities for multiple brand new Advice Specialists / Financial Advisors, to act in an FCA regulated role, providing advice to a cohort of newly acquired clients. The advice scope currently is limited to accumulation and consolidation activities into a restricted number of simple products and investment solutions

What makes these Advice Specialist / Financial Advisor unique is that all the customers will be generated by group so there is no need to generate own leads as well as full paraplanning & admin support being given

The advice will generally be given to new clients, but could extend to some review work as well as ensuring that Destination Retirement Wealth provides appropriate for customers who are or will be orphaned by previous external advice partner relationships

Key

Responsibilities:

Deliver appropriate financial advice to a provided customer base specifically in relation to retirement planning, pensions and non-pension investments.
Support the Product Manager - Digital Wealth and Investments and Service Manager - Retirement Savings and Advice, to ensure that Destination Retirement Wealth complies and adheres with FCA Conduct Rules and Statement of Principles.
Deliver annual objectives as defined and agreed with the Service Manager - Retirement Savings and Advice.
Support Digital Wealth Propositions in development of the advice proposition.
Ensure Destination Retirement Wealth product and investment components are offered appropriately in the context of customer outcomes.
Ensure Destination Retirement Wealth secures customers in accordance with best practice standards, and HUB Financial Solutions' Consumer Duty culture, to ensure that T&C and compliance requirements are met and maintained.
Maintain professional development, technical knowledge and as required presentation skills to ensure that advice provided is compliant, informative factual and relevant, proactively ensuring that skills and knowledge levels are maintained to ensure ongoing competence

Skills and Experience:
Qualified to QCF Level 4 and hold a Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) from an Approved Accredited Body
Recent financial advice practitioner experience and previously held Competent Adviser Status (CAS).
Technical advice expertise and established thought leadership with understanding beyond the written rules of what the regulator is seeking to achieve.
Strong understanding of and experience of working with investment platforms and tailored fund solutions.
Continuous improvement mindset in terms of propositions and personal skillset.
Strong interest in driving efficiency through use of advice technology and understanding of business processes.
Ability and willingness to challenge peers, management and control functions in the context of ensuring optimal customer experience.
Natural curiosity in terms of what might be possible and ability to resolve complex challenges alongside peers.
Ability to work in a fast moving and often unstructured environment.
Determination to see things through and willingness to roll-up sleeves to move things along.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build a trusted internal network to 'get things done'.
